Lee's Place Burgers

Lee's Place Burgers
216 Sumner Street Newton, MA 02459
Open Daily 11am-9pm

After wrapping up a short business meeting in Boston with a few friends, we decided to do lunch and find a place to grab a quick bite before continuing on with our day. While having a vast craving for Sweet Potato fries, my friend and I decided to hunt down the best place in the South End of Boston to find that sweet, crispy, golden treat.

After searching around, all fingers led us in the direction of Lee's Place Burgers in Newton, MA.

Upon entering the quaint little eatery, we were greeted with a warm smile by the cashier as we watched one of the workers, who we would later learn to be the owner Lee, serving his patrons. There was a line since we had arrived during the lunch rush but with Lee's expertise and enthusiastic smile, within minutes everyone was happily enjoying their meal. Another thing that I noticed was that nothing on the menu costs more than $7!

The burgers are plump and juicy, simple yet memorable, served on a toasted bulkie roll wrapped in wax paper foil, and comes with thinly sliced onions, fat, ripe tomatoes and crisp Iceberg lettuce leaves on top of a 6 ounce beef patty.

The fries were served piping hot, crispy golden on the outside and soft on the inside, hand cut to perfection. The Sweet Potato fries were banging too!

The owner Lee is by far one of the friendliest owners I have had the pleasure to meet. Being easily approachable, fun to talk to and extremely nice, his presence ALONE is worth coming down to Lee's, having the food there is just a plus!

If burgers are ya thing and you're looking for a new place to grab a bite or you're in the area, then def drop by to check it out.
